Mrs. Anna Maria Mizell, 55, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday evening, May 12, 2026, at Colleton Medical Center. Born November 26, 1970, in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Bernard Matthew Oliver and the late Annie Ruth Benton Oliver. Maria was an avid animal lover and centered her life around her family. Surviving are: her husband of 25 years, Michael Dale Mizell of Walterboro; her father, Bernard Oliver of Walterboro; children, Austin Matthew Mizell and Toby Alexander Mizell, both of Walterboro; her dogs who were her “daughters”, Emily and Madison; sister, Roslynn Oliver Harmon (Harley); brother, Bernard Matthew Oliver, II; and a host of extended family.
