Personal: Married, high school graduate, employed with the Dorchester County Sheriff’s office in detention with over 20 years in leadership and management experience. First female to serve as a captain with the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office in 2013 and served as juvenile arbitrator for Colleton County. Member of South Carolina Jail Administrators Association member, South Carolina Jail Administrators Association (SCJAA) Scholarship Committee member, School Improvement Council for Forest Hills Elementary.

for office in Colleton County?
My life’s work has been about service and this is an opportunity to serve my community by using my professional, legal and administrative experience. As administrative captain, I possess an exceptional command of South Carolina law, as well as policies and procedures. I have supervised more than a hundred employees and maintained personnel records, federal grants, payroll, purchasing and receiving, as well as provided monthly reports, social security reports and invoices, and have extensive experience with the courts and judges.
