The May 13th blood drive at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church was another disappointing day for building the blood supply. Only 43 people took the time to come in and only 42 pints of blood was collected. If you or a loved one’s life depends on a blood transfusion hopefully it will be available.
The faithful donors that did come in were: Kevin Wicker, Bucky McCormick, Fran Mack, Bill Weeks, Mike Kuszmaul, Oscar Broach, Rebecca Foster, William Snead, Willie Dobison, Ken Hlausa, Sarah Judy, Stephen Young, Vicki Syfrett, Mitchell Bennett, Anita Givens, Gary Hermann, Sandra Ferguson, Donald Davis, Barbara Benton, Nie Green, Perry Ramsey, Megan Atherton, Leon Brown, Diane Wicker, Branda Washington, Merilyn Williams, Lisa Turner, Kelly O’Quinn, Celeste Stone, Karson Hiott, Sonya Manigo, Summer White, Doris Nettles (13 gallons), Susan Bennett, Cornelius Reid, Marilyn Peters, Michael Hutto, Mark Heckler, Katherine Heckler, Jeanette Smith, Patricia Williams, Charles Russ, and Norma Weeks.
The next blood drive at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be on July 8. Please mark this on your calendar and plan on helping to build the blood supply.
