Come and meet her and learn more about her passion for public education.

Mrs. Stroble was employed by the Colleton County School District for 34 years beginning in 1985. She retired in 2018, but continued to tutor students and served as an instructional coach to support teachers and administrators from Colleton County, as well as Polaris Tech Charter School in Ridgeland.

Mrs. Stroble served as a high school math teacher, and both administrator and instructional coach at the middle and high school levels. She also served as the vocational director for 5 years and learned the valuable connection between the school system and the workforce. Through prayerful consideration she would like to continue to serve Colleton County as a member of the school board and represent District 6.

“I want to be a part of ensuring a world class education for the students and workforce of Colleton County" said Mrs. Stroble. "My grandchildren will be attending the Colleton County Schools in the coming years, and just like your children, they deserve the best."

A lifelong resident of Colleton County, Mrs. Stroble graduated from Walterboro High School in 1981 as Salutatorian, Bus Driver of the Year, and Student Council President. She continued her education at the College of Charleston where she obtained her teaching degree for mathematics in 1985, and received a Masters Degree in Administration from The Citadel in 1994.

Lynn is married to Ricky Stroble. They are thankful to have two married sons and two grandsons all living in Colleton County.

Mrs. Stroble is a lifetime member of Salem United Methodist Church in Hendersonville. Her favorite Psalm is 133 because she believes that unity and teamwork is how any group of people, young or old, finds success and happiness.

The election will be Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Early voting starts Monday, October 24th and ends Saturday, November 5th. Voters in Hendersonville, Green Pond, Peniel, Stokes, Wolf Creek, Petits, Walterboro 1 and 4 precincts are eligible to vote in District 6.
