It is difficult to manage a 9-5 plus a family and life in general. Now imaginge working a full time job, taking care of your family, taking care of life, and having not one, but two, side jobs. Meet Diamond Dejesus who can handle it all.

Ms. Dejesus is originally from The Bronx, but as with many a story, moved down South with her parents. The move brought them to Colleton County and that is where they made their home. She started school at Colleton County Middle School, but when her educational paperwork arrived from New York she transitioned to K-12 online school. Diamond felt educationally, this was the best decision for her and was very happy studying online. She particularly

enjoyed how you can learn at your own pace.

After graduating high school Diamond got her first job at Dairyland. While working there, she was offered a job at the Bank of the Lowcountry which she accepted and currently works as a teller and has for 5 years.

Ms. Dejesus operates two independent small businesses also. She is the owner and operator of The Diamond Luxe Photo Booth and DD’s Foam and Fun.

Through her photography booth business, Diamond’s goal “is to bring more fun to your event with a smooth, feelgood photo experience. We deliver high-quality photos, good vibes, and memories your guests will carry with them long after the party. Whether it’s a corporate event, school function, daycare celebration, wedding, or pop-up shop, we’re here to serve the Lowcountry with FUN and

unforgettable moments.” Photography is something she has wanted to do, and she started her The Diamond Luxe Photo Booth around the time COVID-19. However, she had to put the business on the back burner due to the pandemic. Then with one of her children’s birthdays recently she brought out her photo booth and decided essentially it’s now or never. Her second business of DD’s Foam & Fun corresponded with this birthday as well. Diamond was not aware of a foam party experience business in the immediate area, so she decided to

fill that gap resulting in a second business. Keeping with the party service theme her goal is to “bring the ultimate foam party experience straight to your backyard, school, church, daycare, or special event! From birthday bashes to gender reveals, we turn ordinary days into unforgettable, bubbly celebrations.” What is smart about this business model is you can schedule Diamond for one or both of her businesses at the same event.

Whether you book Ms. Dejesus for the photo booth or for a fun foam party or both, what you can count on is professionalism. “I’m really hands-on and I’m always present at my events. I pay attention to the little details, and I treat every event like it matters, because it does. I want people to leave happy. The goal is always fun, great quality, and a stress-free experience,” Diamond comments. Her customers comment on her professionalism and how fun and

stress-free she made their events.

Personally Ms. Dejesus has been married to her husband since 2021 and they three children, two boys and one girl ages 7, 8, and 14. Her husband supports her and he has been volunteered to help load equipment, unload equipment, and

help set up and tear down on occasion. Even the kids pitch in sometimes.
