We sat down and spoke to Olivia Herrington Bellew of 4 Corner Financial Group about the products and services 4 Corners offers. Olivia is a licensed Insurance Agent and started with Four Corners in August of last year.

4 Corner Financial Group was started by Brenda Eustace and Johnny Craven in 2016. They were former AIG agents. The two of them combined have over 60 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Ballew says, “There’s all different kinds of life insurance, so we really try hard to find the product that’s going to fit the client’s needs. We have term life that is temporary life insurance for that period of time, this tends to be a less expensive product. After the policy expires you can convert it over with certain companies. Then you have your whole life maintain it until you die. Then you have your IULs, (Indexed Universal Life) which is a great way to build extra funds. You can fund it like an annuity such as an IRA, you can put funds into and withdrawals for from it in the most tax efficient way. If you’re wanting to build some cash, that’s where an IUL would come in would be real good for people who just want to build cash and have the life insurance.”
4 Corner also offers retirement planning. “A great age to start looking at retirement plan would be in your early 20s but it’s never too late. If you have any 401k’s laying around it’s the perfect time to look at rolling those over. If you’ve recently lost a job or have a number of small 401k’s to combine.”
4 Corner can review your portfolio and make suggestions on plans to implement in preparation for retirement. You can call them and schedule an appointment. They do free reviews of their life insurance or their annuities, run some illustrations, get know the client and figure out what route would be best for them.

Olivia adds, “We are actually progressive platinum agents. The only progressive platinum agency in Colleton County, so we can give you a better discount than other agencies can in Colleton County we also offer many other carriers. We do our property and casualty insurance through Mike Farrell insurance Agency out of Columbia.”
Ballew wanted to remind residents about buying Insurance during Hurricane season, “If there is a named storm you cannot buy insurance, but we can still quote you but we can’t bind any insurance while there’s a named storm. There is a lot of companies that aren’t writing business for Colleton County because we’re in the coastal zone. We do have we have a few great companies that are still writing though. Especially during hurricane season.”
Another product offered by 4 Corner is Health Insurance. They mostly offer Blue Cross and Blue Shield and can assist with the Affordable Care Act. They also do Medicare supplements. When approaching 65 years of age. There is a window on or before that birthday and right after to get signed up for their Medicare supplement and their prescription Drug plan.
They also offer supplemental insurance such as cancer, dental, optical, and disability insurance.
In addition to all of these offerings they also offer Boat, Motorcycle, and ATV Insurance.
