Mr. Richard Dean Litchfield, Jr., 66, of Walterboro, entered into rest Friday morning, September 1, 2023, the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
Born December 15, 1956, in Walterboro, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Richard Dean Litchfield, Sr. and the late Norma Jane Beach Lyons. He was the step-son of Thomas P. Grayson and Parker Lyons who played strong roles in his raising and upbringing. Dean was known by many as “Worm” and always enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an exceptional carpenter and will always be remembered for the love he possessed for his grandchildren.
Surviving are: his daughter, Abby Lynn Gregorich (Tony) of Charleston; three grandchildren, Jayce, Shelby, and Trinity as well as a great grandchild, Jax. He is also survived by two brothers, Thomas “Sambo” Grayson and Lucky Beach as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Sidney Beach; and a sister, Vickie Lyons.
