Coastal Empire Mental Health Center held its Awareness Month Ribbon Ceremony on Wednesday May 1. Dignitaries from the are gathered at the Waterfall to hear a proclamation read by Walterboro Mayor Bill Young and comments from Executive Director Angie Salley and Board Member Henry Hiott. The Honorable Ceth Utsey of the Colleton County Probate Court spoke on community awareness and Frances Moody Introduced the staff of Coastal Empire Mental Health Center. The event was also attended by sponsors for Dominion Energy and Hopeful Horizons. The highlight of the event was the hanging of the ribbons by Board Member Genora Kennedy and Colleton County Councilman Phillip Taylor. The event was wrapped up by Clinic Director Andrea Miley.
