The Latrice D. Ferguson School of Nursing Assistants was established in Walterboro on June 1, 2016. Ernestine Bowman Ferguson, CEO and Founder recently changed the school’s name to LaTrice D. Ferguson Healthcare Institute. She felt potential students would be better informed of the many career choices available. The school is a vibrant learning environment where the motto is making dreams come true.

Becoming successful requires planning, hard work, and family support. Quite often, obstacles and challenges are part of the path to success. At LDFHCI, we take pride in our unwavering commitment to our students’ success. Our instructors are willing to help students succeed by providing educational guidance. Our overall goal is that students will use their skills and knowledge to provide safe and quality care second to none, impacting our community, state, and even the world.
