“We had a tough week with difficult matches and losses,” said Coach David Roper. “Coming off a 10-day quarantine, with no play or practice, we just were not able to find our rhythm. It is tough to walk into a great opponent’s gym being down your libero and a defensive specialist, but we played out of system each game and the whole match. Our girls fought hard – never giving up and I am proud of them. We are just thankful to even be playing with everything that is going on.”

The Lady Hawks (2-3) were scheduled to play two games this week, but as of press time, Thomas Heyward was quarantined. Colleton Prep will look to host Beaufort Academy on Thursday, September 9.
