Resource: Colleton County Fire-Rescue

This afternoon a special young lady paid a visit to Fire-Rescue Headquarters. Kylie Spell, a 10 year old Colleton resident, has been collecting stuffed animals over the past two years for first responders to hand out to injured children. Fire Chief Barry McRoy was impressed by the amount of stuffed toys she was able to collect, and Fire-Rescue is grateful for her effort. The toys will be placed on ambulances throughout the county for #yourColletonFirefighters to hand out. Chief McRoy told Kylie, “You are helping out children that you don’t even know, and providing us the ability to provide a toy that just might bring a little happiness to a not too happy situation. It’s really amazing. For more information visit Colleton County Fire-Rescue Facebook.
