Mr. Tiller Esdorn Jones, Jr., 77, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday evening, August 6, 2023, at his residence.
Born November 13, 1945, in Ruffin, he was a son of the late Tiller Esdorn Jones, Sr. and Rosa Lee Breland Jones. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany. He worked for many years at Smoaks Manufacturing and retired as a maintenance mechanic from Devro Tee Pak, Inc. Tiller was a member of Evergreen Christian Church. He enjoyed watching westerns, loved his family and was extremely proud of his two grandsons and the apple of his eye, Adalyn.
Surviving are: his daughter, Monica l. Jones and her husband Trent of Islandton; grandsons, Caleb Jones and his wife Lindsey and Cameron Jones (Kallie); great granddaughter, Adalyn Jones; sister, Eugenia Herndon of Walterboro; brother, Wayne Jones, Sr. and his wife Diane of Walterboro; and his former wife, Sandra. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Brooks.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock, Thursday morning, August 10, 2023, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Bells Highway, Walterboro.
