Jones crowned CPA Homecoming Queen

Weslin Jones was crowned 2020 Homecoming Queen for Colleton Prep Academy during halftime of Friday’s home football game against Calhoun Academy.
Jones is the daughter of Wesley and Sonda Jones. She plays varsity volleyball and softball and is a member of the National Honor Society and serves as the CPA student body historian. Jones plans to study kinesiology at Charleston Southern where she will play softball.
Jones was crowned by Colleton Prep’s 2019 Homecoming Queen Langley Harter. Harter is the daughter of Steven Harter and Emily Warren. She is currently attending the University of South Carolina.
Additional candidates for Homecoming Queen were Rianna Bailey and Rachel Wright.

Bailey is the daughter of Brent and Rhonda Bailey. She is a varsity cheerleader and plays tennis, basketball and softball. She is the CPA senior class president and member of the National Honor Society. She plans to study elementary education at the University of South Carolina.
Wright is the daughter of Jack and Leah Wright. She plays varsity volleyball and basketball for the Lady Hawks. Wright is a member of National Honor Society and serves as the vice president of the student body. She plans to attend Trident Technical College in the fall to pursue a degree in health science.
The 2020 Colleton Prep Homecoming Court included:
Freshmen: Makenzie Claire Pellum, daughter of Shannon and Beth Pellum, and Hannah Grace Strickland, daughter of Andy Strickland and Danielle Strickland.
Sophomores: Becca Martin, daughter of Tiger and Christy Martin, and Linley Jones, daughter of Wesley and Sonda Jones.
Juniors: Haley Bootle, daughter of Everett and Nicole Bootle, and Taylor Tomedolskey, daughter of Mark and Terri Tomedolskey.
