Martha Bagwell Heape, 72, of Walterboro, died Saturday, June 1, 2024.
Born February 4, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Veronica Bagwell. She was a retired nurse having worked at Oakwood Nursing Home in Walterboro, St. George Nursing Home in St. George, as well as various other nursing homes in the Lowcountry.
Surviving are: her husband of 48 years, George Heape; children, Alicia Rouse (Alan) and Edward Heape (Melissa); grandchildren, Karley, Hanna, Savannah, Gunner, and Austin.
Funeral services were held 11 am, Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment, Live Oak Cemetery.
