Mr. Eddie Marshall Fisk, 85, of Lodge, entered into rest eternal Thursday morning, January 4, 2024, at Colleton Medical Center.
Born September 7, 1938, in the Willow Swamp community of Colleton County, he was a son of the late Jacob Eddie Fisk and Lois McMillan Fisk. He served his country faithfully in the United States Navy and proudly served on the destroyer ship, USS Douglas A. Munro. Mr. Marshall worked for over 40 years for CSX Railroad, retiring as a Conductor. He was a member of Carters Ford Baptist Church, Hope Lodge No. 122-Ancient Free Masons, and the Jahab Shrine Club-Hampton. Mr. Marshall was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, dove hunting, and quail hunting, but his life was farming. He also loved racing motorcycles and enjoyed old cars.
Surviving are: his wife of 56 years, Ethylean Hudson Fisk; children, Deborah Mixon of Round O and Daniel Marvin Stanley (Rolynn) of Varnville; grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Pope (Alex), Joshua Mixon, Jacob Stanley, and Kayla Stanley; great grandchild, Auryon Pope; sister-in-law, Helen Fisk of Georgia; nieces and nephew, Cherie, Mike and Michelle. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Mixon; brother, Jerry Lavern Fisk; sister, Sandra Marchand; brother-in-law, James Marchand; and a nephew, Michael Marchand.
Funeral services were held privately on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Carter’s Ford Baptist Church Cemetery, Lodge Highway, Lodge.
