Riley Bradford was nervous before her first airplane flight with pilot Ron Santo and her mom. Once in the air, Riley flew the plane with the help of Santo and was all smiles when she landed. “I loved it!” she said and stated she was ready to go up again.
Ready to fly. Young Eagles of the EAA Chapter 477 are prepared to fly with their pilots Elizabeth Birch and Ron Santo. The EAA Young Eagles program was launched in 1992 to give interested young people, ages 8 - 17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.
