An adult female was shot in a shooting incident at 955 Silkhope Lane in the Johnsville Community north of the Town of Smoaks, Tuesday evening 13-Dec at 21:11. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the woman at the scene and requested a medical helicopter. CARE Flight responded and landed in a field across the street from the location. The woman was transferred to the Flight Crew without incident, then flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
