Mr. Robert Leonard Espy, 79, of Goose Creek, entered into eternal rest Monday morning, October 19, 2026, at his residence in Cottageville. He was the husband of the late Ruth Ann Espy.
Born February 7, 1947, in Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Bobby Gene Espy and Edwina Mazzei Espy. Robert served his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps. After his military career, he worked civil service as a carpenter.
Surviving are: his children, Bobby Gene Espy of Cordesville, Johnna Livingston (Jimmy) of Cordesville, and Clarissa Kornahrens (Darian) of Cottageville; grandchildren, Gray Livingston (Jenson), Emma Livingston King (David), Jenna Livingston, Aaron Kornahrens (Denielle), Kaci Divelbiss (Brian), and Lianna Kornahrens; great grandchildren, Matthias Kornahrens, Isabel Kornahrens, Sebastian Segura, Leland Livingston, and Alby Livingston; the mother of his children, Lia Espy; brother, Richard Espy (Pat) of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1 o’clock, Friday afternoon, October 30, 2026, at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort.
