On March 25th, Eder Chiropractic Clinic will celebrate 30 years of caring for the neuromusculoskeletal system of the people of Colleton.

In 1992, Eder opened his clinic doors at 110-A Memorial Avenue, but eventually moved to his location at 975 Bells Highway in 2005. He has been there ever since, along with Cathy Lyons, his personal assistant for the past 30 years.

“I have been working with Dr. Eder from day one,” said Lyons. “It doesn’t seem like it has been 30 years. We have been so blessed that the lord has allowed us to have such good and loyal patients... Most of our patients have become like family to me, and I cherish my relationships with them. We strive to make them feel like friends and family and do the best we can to help them with their chiropractic needs.”

Owned and operated by Stuart Eder, the business encompasses all areas of chiropractic, including x-ray diagnosis and low back intensive seminars. He works with the bones, nerves, muscles, tendons, and ligaments in the human body.

As a chiropractor, he helps manage back and neck pain through the use of spinal adjustments to maintain good alignment.

Eder was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Brooklyn College in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. In 1991, he graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta. He worked in a large chiropractic clinic in Atlanta before coming to Walterboro.

“The last 30 years sure has flown by. I would like to thank all of our patients for making our business a great success, because without all of you, none of this would have been possible,” said Eder. “Thank you again for your trust and support. I look forward to serving you many more years.”

Eder and Lyons are planning a Patient Appreciation Day in the near future.
