First Thursday arrived on Washington Street June 1, 2023. Businesses stayed open late to entice customers, restaurants featured open doors for patrons to roam in and out, and socializing was high on the agenda. Strains of music floated through the air for entertainment. The weather also cooperated with mild temperatures and a light breeze. Food trucks and an ice cream vendor provided an atmosphere of a street fair. A car show was also part of the evening with several El Caminos present in various stages of restoration for a bit of 80’s nostalgia. A beautiful Chevy truck was also there for the discerning automotive eye. With a variety of shops, food, and entertainment First Thursday had something for everyone.
