South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the details of a fatal collision that occurred at approximately 2:02 am on August 23rd. The collision occurred between an X moto dirt bike and a 2004 Honda Odyssey van. Both vehicles were traveling northbound on secondary highway 41. The dirt bike was slowing in traffic when the 2004 Honda Odyssey collided with the bike. The driver of the dirt bike was the only rider and died of their injuries on scene. The driver of the Honda Odyssey van was the only occupant and was not injured. Information on the deceased is not currently available at the time of publication.
