A Colleton County deputy and another motorist were involved in a vehicle accident on Bells Highway near Forest Circle in the city of Walterboro around 3 p.m. on Dec. 2. Colleton Fire-Rescue transported both individuals to Colleton Medical Center to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
