The Colleton County All-Star Darlings will head to Lancaster to begin competition in the Dixie All-Star Softball Tournament Saturday July 16. The Darlings will compete in an 11-team bracket that includes Woodruff, Andrews, Jefferson, Blythewood, Saluda, Sumter, Union, Lake Marion, Lancaster, and Iva. The Darlings advanced straight to the state tournament as no sub-district or district tournaments were held due to the lack of participation in Dixie Youth across the state.
The Darlings roster includes Saharrah Lonsberry, Alyssa Langdale, Karsyn Murray, Bryleigh Bishop, Kennedy Slocum, Layla Mccranie, Kalleigh Bowden, Lola Herndon, Kinley Brady, Hinley Davis, Maizey Johnston, and Phoenix Turner. They are coached by Samantha Hiott, Brandon Hiott, Johnny Herndon, and Jonathon Bowden.
