Offense: Possession of cocaine
Summary: While patrolling the area of Greenpond Highway and Proctor Street, officers observed a Honda SUV with a third brake light out. A traffic stop was conducted and upon making contact, an open container was observed in plain view. During a probable cause search of the vehicle narcotics were located. Ultimately all four occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody for the narcotics.

Summary: On the above date and time at the listed incident location, officers were dispatched to a call for service. The call was in reference to a shoplifting in progress.

Location: Sniders Hwy; Walterboro, S.C.
Offense: 2nd Degree Domestic Violence
Summary: Officers were dispatched to 1289 Sniders Highway, in reference to a young black male and black female in a physical fight behind the store. Once officers arrived on scene, officers did observe the male in the female’s face. Once gathering information as well as both side of the incident, it was determined the male had assaulted the female leaving redness to both side of the neck. Both parties were found to be in an intimate relationship. The male was transported to CCDC.

Location: Bells Highway; Walterboro, S.C.
Offense: Unlawful Carrying of Pistol
Summary: Officers were dispatched to Bells Highway; Walterboro, S.C., in reference to an employee showing and advising other employees that they had a firearm on their person while working, disregarding establishments gun free employee policy. Once on scene, after gathering information from the store manager, officers made contact with the employee. Once questioning the employee on the firearm, the employee advised they did not possess a CWP and the firearm was on the employee’s person. The employee was then transported CCDC for unlawful carry, the firearm was then seized.

Summary: Deputy responded to the area of Jefferies Highway and Academy Road in reference to reports of animal abuse. Suspect was arrested and warrant will be obtained for the other. Animal control responded and recovered the abused animal.
