6/8/2023      

1145 SNIDERS HWY.; Walterboro, S.C.:  Assault and Battery 3rd Degree:  Officers were dispatched to 1145 Sniders Hwy. in reference to an active fight. Once on scene information was gathered and all parties did not wish to pursue any charges. All parties involved were trespassed from the location and the incident would be documented.

1145 Sniders Hwy.; Walterboro, S.C.:  Assault and Battery 3rd Degree:   Officers were dispatched to 1145 Sniders Hwy.; Walterboro, S.C. in reference to an active fight.  Once on scene information was gathered and all parties did not wish to pursue any charges.  All parties involved were trespassed from the location and the incident would be documented.

6/9/2023      

2100 block of Bells Hwy.; Walterboro,  S.C:     Unlawful carrying of pistol:  Officers were patrolling the area of Bells Hwy., when officers observed a black in color Ford 500 operating with the brake lights remaining on. A traffic stop was conducted for the defective equipment.  Once making contact with occupants, a strong odor of marijuana was observed omitting from inside the vehicle. A search was conducted which revealed drug paraphernalia, green leafy substance (presumptive marijuana) as well as a firearm.  All of the contraband was located inside the bookbag under the feet of the front passenger.  The firearm was found to be stolen out of Lexington, S.C, the driver was issued warnings for the traffic infraction and the passenger was transported to CCDC for the firearm.

244 Green Pond Hwy.; Walterboro, S.C.:  Larceny from Vehicle:  Officers responded to the incident location in reference to a car battery being stolen from a vehicle on the lot.

6/3/2023                 

Possession w/i to distribute amphetamine.  On June 3, 2023 at approximately 1144hrs.  Officer conducted a traffic stop on a Grey 2001 Ford F-150 bearing a South Carolina near Robertson Blvd. and North Jefferies Hwy. located in the state of South Carolina, City of Walterboro in reference to a improper turn violation.  Contact was made with the driver.  While speaking with the driver it was determined that there was a firearm under the driver’s seat. The driver was then asked to exit the vehicle and was detained. Upon further investigation it was determined that the driver was in possession of narcotics. The driver was then placed under arrest and transported to the Colleton County Detention where a hold for warrant was placed.  Warrants will be obtained, nothing further.

6/3/2023      

332 South Memorial Ave., Walterboro, S.C.:    Pointing and or presenting a firearm:     Officers were dispatched to 332 South Memorial for a subject that had made threats with a firearm to kill people. Upon officers’ arrival, contact was made with the victims who stated that they witnessed the subject point a firearm and make the statement to kill them.  Contact was then made with the subject who did briefly barricade himself inside his residence.  He was taken into custody without incident and but later released as it was determined by medical staff that he was possibly having a heart attack.

6/4/2023      

225 Robertson Blvd.; Walterboro, S.C.:  Shoplifting 1st offense $2,000 or less:  Officers were dispatched to Rose’s in reference to a shoplifting.  Upon arrival, contact was made with management who advised a suspect selected a 55” tv and walked past all points of purchase, failing to render payment. Once confronted, the male fled the scene. The subject was identified, and a warrant will be issued for his arrest.

1248 Sniders Hwy Walterboro, S.C.:      Intimidation:  Officers were dispatched to 1288 Sniders Hwy. in reference to the clerk being threatened by a guest.

1286 Sniders Hwy.; Walterboro, S.C.:    Breach of trust over $10,000:  Offender on the above date and time, r/o responded to 1286 Sniders Hwy. for a report of a stolen vehicle.

 

6/6/2023      

189 Beach Road Apt. J6:  Credit card fraud:  On the above date and time officers responded to a phone call in reference to credit card fraud.

6/6/2023      

Petit larceny under $2,000:  On the above date and time, officer was dispatched a phone call in reference to a stolen firearm.

6/7/2023      

601 Green Pond Hwy.:       Assault and Battery 3rd Degree:  Officer was dispatched to Green Pond Hwy., Walterboro Village in reference to an active fight. Once on scene and through further ministrations both parties involved were ultimately taken into custody for Assault and Battery in the 3rd degree.

6/8/2023      

1480 Sniders Hwy.; Walterboro, S.C.:    Unlawful possession of firearm on the above date and time officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a window tint violation.

On 06/11/2023 Deputy responded in reference to a disturbance between an ex-boyfriend and girlfriend.

Charge:  Discharging Firearms in Dwellings, Structures, or Vehicles

On 06/11/2023 Deputy responded in reference to residence being struck by gunfire.

Location:  Sidneys Rd., Walterboro, S.C.

Charge:  Suspicious Person

Status:  Approved

On 06/12/2023 Deputies made contact with a suspicious subject.  Subject was acting erratically and was shouting expletives during the course of the interaction.  Subject was arrested for public disorderly conduct and a search of his person incident to arrest revealed a used needle and syringe that the subject stated was used for narcotics purposes post Miranda warning and was charged for possession of drug paraphernalia as well.  Subject was transported to CCDC without further incident.
