The Colleton County Cougars will be looking for their first win of the season hosting White Knoll on September 1st at Cougar Stadium. Kick-off is set for 7:30.
Coach Adam Kinloch announced the players of the week from the Hampton County game. Those players include:
Cameron Grayson as offensive player of the game rushing for 115 yards on 19 carries.
Jaivion Gryson as defensive player of the game with 3 tackles and one pass broken up.
Aadden Castelonas as special team player with a 30 yd. punting average.
Zamere Dailey as lineman while grading out at 87%.
Kinloch replied that these kids played and excellent game. “We will need that kind of effort to continue against White Knoll”, replied Coach Kinloch.
Even though the varsity had an off week, the Junior Varsity Cougars defeated the Hampton County J.V. by a score of 12-6 in double overtime. For more information visit Colleton County School District Athletics Facebook Page.
