Head Coach Adam Kinloch had two goals as he took his Cougars for a game with North Charleston High School. The first goal was to win their first game of the season and the second was to break a three-game losing streak. At the end of the game both goals had been reached. The CCHS Cougars would battle the North Charleston Cougars to a 7-7 tie at the half. However, the Colleton Cougars would come alive in the second half to score 23 unanswered points to claim a 30-7 win over North Charleston.

“I thought our offense played really well. We were able to establish the running game which opened up our passing game, Other than making a few mistakes and costly penalties we played pretty good. Our defense played well holding North Charleston to just seven points. It was just a good overall and team effort from start to finish,” said Coach Kinloch.

Next up for the Cougars will be a short drive to St. George for a date with Woodland High School. Woodland has been ranked in the top ten polls all season. The Wolverines have several division one players on the team.

Coach Kinlock said his outer conference schedule is to prepare our team for strong opposition.

Friday, Sept 22 game kick-off is scheduled for 7:30.
