Ardell Garnett may live in Queens, New York but a lot of his heart resides right here in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Ardell currently resides in Queens NY with his wife Kimberley, is 53 years old, and is the youngest of five children. He knew he was different from his siblings and there were times he felt like he was separate, different, or not a part of his of family surroundings.
On July 4th, 2023 Ardell received a call from South Carolina from a woman stating she was his aunt and she had been looking for him for over 50 years. The lady is the sister to his biological father who Ardell never met. She told Ardell that she had never stopped looking for him nor stopped loving him. Ardell began to cry after she revealed some other factual information to him. He was then connected to another aunt AND his biological father.
Since July 4th he has been in daily contact with his father the two aunts and several cousins. The conversations are filled with so much love as if 50 years were never lost. The funniest part about this whole thing is Ardell looks a lot like his biological father Ordell (Daddy Pops).
Ardell, his wife, along with his 3 children, went to Walterboro South Carolina on August 23, 2023’ to meet his father, two aunts, and cousins for the very FIRST time.
Although they never saw Ardell they all knew of him. His father, Aunts, and Cousins prayed that they would see him one day, and their prayers were answered.
Ardell was able to walk his cousin down the aisle and give her away on her wedding day August 26, 2023.
