Coming off one of the most successful seasons in school history, the War Hawks will seek to continue their success as they open against Florence Christian Academy. The War Hawks will travel to Florence for the 7:30 pm kick-off.
The Hawks have had an excellent pre-season which has allowed the coaches to install the offense and put in a new defense, “The kids have really worked hard, and this has allowed us to install various schemes on both sides of the ball. Also, I have been pleased with the work that the new kids and the J.V. kids have done so far”, said head coach Greg Langdale.
In a recent scrimmage last week, Landgdale was pleased with the efforts from the first groups on defense and offense.
Langdale stated, “the guys have been working really hard at practice and doing a good job. Hopefully the hard work will carry over on Friday nights. I really have been pleased with the effort the new guys and the players from the JV team have been doing.”
