The CCHS Cougars boys’ and girls’ basketball teams had their first scrimmages
heading into the 2025-2026 season. Vernon Gilbert spoke with Coach Lindsay and Coach Kahee about the scrimmages and the upcoming season.
Battery Creek came to the Cougar Den for the girls’ game. Coach Lindsay
expected a good game from both teams, but acknowledged mistakes will be made and those mistakes will allow the team to capitalize and fix the weak spots.
The boys’ team also played the Battery Creek Dolphins in their first scrimmage.
Coach K looked to this scrimmage to see where the team needs to grow, where they need to tighten up on, and see where they need to progress.
