Colleton County Cougars falls to Woodland High Wolverines

The Colleton County Cougars traveled to St. George to take on top ten ranked Woodland Wolverines, hoping to continue the success they had against North Charleston. Although, the Cougars played one of their better games they would come up short against the Wolverines 35-10.

The Wolverines would score first to take a 7-0 led in the first quarter. The second quarter would see Woodland add two more touchdowns in the second quarter while allowing the Cougars a field goal. The half-time score had Woodland leading 21-3.

The second half would find the two teams exchanging punts, before Woodland would add a score late in the third quarter to make it 28-3 at the end of the third quarter. Woodland would add a touchdown in the fourth quarter to make the score 35-3. Colleton would add a late touchdown to make the final score 35-10.

The Cougars are back on their road as they travel to James Island to take on the Rams. Kick-off is at 7:30.
