An adult male performing yard work was shot in the back Tuesday evening September 10th on Cleveland Street in Walterboro. Colleton County Dispatch received a report the man was shot and lying in a ditch. Colleton County Firefighter-Paramedics treated the man at the scene and transported him to the helipad at Colleton Medical Center. He was transferred to the CareFlight flight crew and flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
