The Colleton County Children’s Theatre returned to the stage at the Civic Center’s Hampton Street Auditorium. After a 4 years hiatus, “The Enchanted Bookshop Musical” brought literary characters to life for the audience as the characters battled robbers to help the bookshop owner save her store. The musical was comprised of 45 very talented children that rehearsed the show since July. The show was presented for 900 school children from Colleton County and over the weekend the show hosted over 700 audience members. This was the first performance for the Children’s Theatre as it own 501c3. The play was directed by Jenny Bunton, Campbell Trippe, David Breland, and Brianna Chapman.
