The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office will begin highlighting their K9 officers.
The first K9 to be featured is Dozier. K9 Dozier is a two-year-old, red Labrador retriever, who is dual-purpose in narcotics detection and tracking. He has been serving with the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office since October 2025. Originally from Montana, Dozier is smart, driven, and dependable in the field, with a strong nose and sharp tracking skills. Off duty, he’s happy, energetic, loving, and absolutely ball-obsessed. Dozier works alongside his handler, Deputy Crisp. They have been certified since October 2025, and together proudly serve and protect the Colleton County community.
