B2C Training came to Colleton County High School during the off-season to begin team
preparations for the 2026-2027 football season. Bakari Blunt, owner of B2C Training, came
to encourage and offer practical application on the field to make things happen. Special
practice attendees were Keandre Allen, Christian Brown, Keno Nixon, Jr., Christian Mitchell,
Jamarion Sanders, Ezekiel Wright, and Justus Jamison-Owens.
Between calling out instructions to CCHS Cougar players, Blunt spoke with Vernon
Gilbert about what he wants to accomplish with the young men at this session. Blunt said the
program is doing well and during practice the focused a lot on the change direction skill, skill
and development, as well as nurturing and mentorship with athletes. The biggest takeaway he
tries to leave with these athletes is paying attention to the small details which means, “being
punctual, paying attention, and taking every rep seriously.”
Blunt told the athletes present they have raw talent and would have to work beyond hard in
the off-season to achieve what they want next season.”
One athlete who took part in this special practice session, thanked Blunt and B2C training
for helping him with things he needed help with such as his twitchiness, and agility. He also
thanked Coach Rome for getting him “out of bed and out doing something good.”
Jamarion Sanders thanked Coach Rome as well for bringing Coach Blunt and helping him
work on his craft and putting in work in the off season.
Bakari Blunt also thanked Coach Rome and Coach Edwards commenting this session
would not be possible, encouraging the youth athletes in their area to continue to get better.
He further commends the coaches for embracing the mentorship with the athletes and the
fellowship with them. Blunt ends with advice for the athletes; “Perfect your craft.”
