The JV Cougars played against Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes December 3rd in Cougar Country. The Cougars had just come off a 61-25 win versus Lowcountry Leadership, but they were not able to come away with the win against Ashley Ridge.
Head Coach DeWayne George commented they lost a tough game. The Cougars lead throughout the first half, but the Swamp Foxes turned up the pressure in the second half and “stole one from us.”
Reginald Manigo #3 (PG) talked about the game after the final buzzer. “We took a bad loss on a game we really wanted to win, but we are going to get back to practice tomorrow. Get back to practice, work and work harder, ten times harder and fix our mistakes. The turnovers and all the little things that caused that loss. We are still together as brothers and as a team we just need to communicate with each other better and we will be good.”
