All of the students worked diligently the past few months preparing for this program. The program opened with a welcome by the mistress of ceremony, Principal Catherine Fanchette, followed by the National Anthem, performed by two CCHS Singers, Kaleb Conover and Kayla Hudson. The national anthem was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. After the Pledge, the students performed two songs for the visiting veterans, “Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star’’ and “This Land Is Your Land”, directed by first-year music teacher, Hiram EM Davis.

After the students performed their musical renditions, the program concluded with “God Bless America” and recognition of visiting veterans, presenting them with tokens of appreciation.
