Three people were injured in a two-vehicle head-on collision on Bent Gate Lane October 2nd. Colleton County Fire-Rescue was notified of the incident on the rural dirt road just off Sunrise Road near the Springtown Community. One patient suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Trauma Center at Trident Hospital in North Charleston. One patient was transported with non-life threatening injuries to Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. The third patient did not require ambulance transport. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
