AgSouth Farm Credit Regional Business Development Manager Troy Brownlee announced that Austin Mizzell, a loan officer trainee in the Walterboro office, has accepted a position as a loan officer. The Walterboro office covers Beaufort, Colleton and Jasper counties.
Mizzell is a resident of St. George and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in agribusiness. When asked what excites him most about serving as a loan officer, he said, “I am excited to provide financial services to the rural communities in the Lowcountry of South Carolina.”
According to Brownlee, “The counties served by our Walterboro location continue to grow in demand for rural real estate in addition to maintaining its foundation in agriculture. Adding Austin as a loan officer will allow us to continue to provide exceptional service to our existing customers and grow our loan portfolio in this area. We’re happy to welcome Austin in his new position as a loan officer with our lending team.”
