A 16-year-old male suffered traumatic injuries in an ATV accident Wednesday, February 25th. The accident occurred at a residence on Haymakers Lane off of Jones Swamp Road. The caller to 911 reported that a large ATV rolled over onto the juvenile. Colleton County Firefighter-Paramedics treated the teenager at the scene and requested a medical helicopter to respond. Meducare flew to the location and landed in a field at accident site. The patient was transferred to the Flight crew and flown to the Shaun Jenkins Children’s Hospital at MUSC in Charleston.
