Firefighters arrived at the large incident and identified several structures that were endangered. Fire-Rescue units were positioned to protect the buildings and Forestry units were requested. The SC Forestry Commission responded with two tractors and a Ranger in a brush unit. Engine #9 also requested one additional Engine, one additional Brush truck and personnel to assist with the large fire.
