Mrs. Myrtice Hope Ackerman, 62, of Walterboro, entered into rest Thursday morning, March 26, 2026, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro with her loving family at her side. Born July 14, 1963, in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Clayton Hope and the late Grace Binnarr Hope. After the death of her mother, her dear aunt, the late Estelle Binarr Meree played an integral role in her upbringing. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed in her memory to: Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter, 33 Poor Farm Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
