For over a year now, my family has gone through a lot with my brother’s and sister’s health issues and deaths. Then in April I found myself knocking on death’s door followed by numerous ER and doctors appointments as well as hospital stays. As of today, I’m facing at least 12 more weeks of a plastic spacer knee before a metal knee replacement can be scheduled. Then 3 more months of rehab. My family stands firm that God has never left us or forsaken us and that His peace passes all our understanding. I cannot possibly put into words an appropriate thank you to all who have ministered to us in so many random acts of love and kindness. We cannot thank you enough! We have felt your compassion in so many ways. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts. My prayer for you is that you know God as intimately as we do because He is the way, the truth and the life when this life on earth is over.
