April 24th, the City of Walterboro had a ribbon cutting ceremony for receipt of USDA Rural Development funding.
USDA awarded the city $112,100 for the following projects:
Police Dep. – two patrol vehicles with upfit
Parks Dept.- truck, mower and contour deck
Water Dept. – two trucks and air compressor
Without the assistance of USDA funding, these projects would not have been attainable.
