The March meeting of the P.E.P. Club had Jennifer Weeks speaking about her and her husband Steve’s African Safari they took last July. They had planned this trip for some time and each had animals they would like to pursue. They were successful in their hunt. The meat from the hunt was given to the community. They plan to return to Africa in the future. Jennifer is the daughter-in-law of club president Norma Weeks and the daughter of John and Virginia Strickland.
In other P.E.P club news, Celeste Stone, Ann Drawdy, and Norma Weeks presented student hygiene items from Roses to Colleton County Middle School nurse Amanda Frank.
The P.E.P. club is a club for any seniors over 50 years old and meets the last Tuesday of the month at the Recreation Center in the Industrial Area at 12:00 pm.
