A mobile home moving truck was destroyed on Charleston Highway (SC Hwy 64) near Rodeo Drive Thursday afternoon on May 30, 2024. Colleton County Fire Rescue arrived to find the truck with the cab well involved. The truck was pulling a singlewide mobile home and had one lane of Charleston Highway blocked. The heat melted some of the vinyl siding on the front of the mobile home, but it did not appear to have sustained any additional damage. The truck driver was not injured.
