A two vehicle collision at the intersection of Green Pond Hwy and Proctor Street sent two people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger car and pickup truck collided causing the truck to roll over blocking Green Pond Highway. The cab of the pickup was crushed, and crews were able to remove the windshield to extricate the driver. Both drivers were transported to Colleton Medical Center for treatment. The Walterboro Police Dept. is investigating the accident.
