The May meeting of the P.E.P. (People Enjoying People) Club featured Ella Hudson as their guest speaker. Mrs. Hudson told the group of her friend and her two week trip to Holland last year. She has many beautiful pictures of buildings, cathedrals, landscapes, and other points of interest to enhance her story. Mrs. Hudson’s husband, General Herman J. Hudson-Army-Retired, spend many years in the military and had seen the world so he chose to stay home. Mrs. Hudson plans another trip to Holland in the near future. The Hudon’s main home is in Belhaven, NC, but they have another home in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
The P.E.P. Club is a senior club for anyone over 50 years old and meets the last. Tuesday of the month at the Recreation Center in the Industrial Area at 12:00. The first visit is free and if you join, membership dues are $5.00 per year. Lunch is served and a program is presented. Door prizes are also given, and Bingo is played for $1.00 a card if you wish to participate.
