The February meeting of the P.E.P. (People Enjoying People) was delighted to have Colleton County Councilman Bubba Trippe as their guest speaker. Mr. Trippe brought the club up to date on some improvements taking place for the benefit to the county. Many questions were asked and answered to everyone’s satisfaction. It was a very informative and enjoyable program. Before leaving Mr. Trippe gave each club member a gift.
The P.E.P. Club is a senior club for anyone over 50 years old and meets the last Tuesday of the moth at 12:00 at the Recreation Center in the industrial area. Lunch is served, a program is presented, and BINGO can be played for $1.00 a card. Your first visit is free and if you decide to join annual dues are $5.00.
The March program will present Jennifer Weeks talking about her husband Steve and her African Safari they took last July.
