The September meeting of the P.E.P. (People Enjoying People) Club had its Annual White Elephant Sale. Club President Norma Weeks auctions off the items that club members bring. Money made at this sale and any other money made through the year is given to local organizations in December.
The P.E.P. Club is a senior club that meets the last Tuesday of the month at 12:00 at the Recreation Center in the Industrial Area. Lunch is served and a program is presented. Bingo is played if you desire for $1.00 a card, and door prizes are given. Your first visit is free, and if you join, membership dues are $5.00 a year.
Next month’s program will be the annual picnic with burgers and dogs and a Halloween costume contest. Put on your best costume and come on and join the fun. For more information, call club president Norma Weeks at 843-538-8950.
